The time has come to unveil our latest project, a race data guide for the Rolex 24hrs, the first round of the 2015 Tudor United Sportscar championship, a huge thank you and welcome to Speed Chills for sponsoring the Rolex 24hr data guide.
You can visit Speed Chills at www.speedchills.com for Le Mans holiday packages and many more motorsport events.
Maybe like me, you like to watch a race and gain as much information as possible. So I created a data guide, all the important data from the 2014 race for you to compare average lap times, stint lengths and fastest laps.
I’ve also added driver time regulations, fastest laps, previous winners and the weekends weather reports, courtesy of Racecast Weather.
Finally I have added space for you to make a note of the current leaders in every class, every hour.
Here are the screen shots.
This is the first one I’ve produced, and therefore all feedback is welcomed. Something I missed?
I do plan to roll this out for the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series, possibly a Bathurst 12h guide too (pending if I can get the data). I also plan a Formula 1 data guide too, this is dependant on a few things, do you actually want one? Would anyone like to sponsor the guide? See data guide page for sponsorship details and contact.
@inside_second and @jimmyb_84 will be available throughout the Rolex24 to answer any questions that may arise from the guide, we will also listen to any feedback you have regarding the guide itself, this is very much a prototype.
UPDATE: I have now updated the guide, I have added a 3rd page containing fastest laps from each session and then gained an average lap time from them.
